Our team is at your service to welcome you to the park. This year, its a real revolution with no less than 20 new animals and attractions at the park (5 new species including meerkats and pudús but also a spectacular new lion habitat with a tunnel to cross it…). We also must highlight our increased focus on education for welcoming groups of children but also on infrastructure to adapt our hilly site to our guests, especially to persons with reduced mobility (shuttle, baby carriers…).

In 2015, we had 64 births including several rare events such as our baby white-handed gibbon. In 2016, we hope to have another baby boom of unique species like elk and wolverines but also wolves and meerkats.

The Parc Animalier d’Auvergne is also a business adventure: since its takeover in 2012, visitors to the site have almost tripled (nearly 90,000 in 2015). An adventure of two entrepreneurs from Paris and Lyon who took on a new life here in Auvergne in a sector that they knew little about just 5 years ago.

Come and join us on our « Keeper for a day » activity or during an animal transfer between zoos. Don’t hesitate to contact us for article ideas or for photos.
