On a two-hour visit with our learning team and with keepers, head out for a behind-the-scenes discovery of the animals of the park! Choose the theme of the visit and play a role in your guided tour: you’ll participate in educational activities and even feed some animals yourself!
Improving the well-being of animals: Presentation of the needs of different animals along the tour, differences between captivity and the wild, and what we can put in place in the Parc Animalier d’Auvergne to improve the daily lives of the animals. You’ll participate in enriching the animals and their environments.
The job of an animal keeper: Learn more about the life of an animal keeper and share in daily activities. You’ll get to feed some of the animals and learn more about the different species. Also find out how to become a keeper and the necessary skills for the job.
Focus on the species of the Himalayas or Africa: Presentation of different adaptations depending on the environment. The tour of the Himalayas will centre on snow leopards, red pandas, takins and markors. The tour of Africa will focus on African lions, Rothschild’s giraffes, hippos and meerkats.
These 4 participatory visits take place on Saturdays from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., with the theme rotating each week. If you are interested in a specific date, contact us at email@example.com to find out the theme.
We accept 12 people maximum for each date to keep a close link between the participants and our team members.
Price (two-hour participatory visit): 50€ per person
The participatory visit will only take place if a minimum of 4 people have booked. Reservations must be made at least one week before the desired date, by phone at +33 (0)4 73 71 82 86 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
